More About the Expert:

Mira Lathrop works at the intersection of money, financial stewardship, and psychology, helping individuals and leaders reorient their relationship with money and step into true financial leadership from the inside out. Her work focuses on developing clarity, self-trust, and discernment so financial decisions arise from coherence rather than fear, conditioning, or pressure.

A former financial advisor with nearly two decades of experience, Mira managed over $300M in client portfolios at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch, advising high-net-worth individuals and families while pioneering values-aligned investing and behavioral finance before these approaches became mainstream. She later co-created Capital One’s first national Money Coaching program, enrolling more than 10,000 people and helping shape a more human, trust-centered approach to financial empowerment. She holds a Master’s degree from the California Institute of Integral Studies, where her work explored the psychological and developmental dimensions of power, safety, worth, and choice as they relate to money.

Mira is the founder of Finanseer, a body of work devoted to cultivating conscious financial stewardship. Her work is grounded in a simple but often overlooked truth: most financial challenges are not rooted in lack of strategy, but in the psychological and relational patterns that shape how we relate to money, power, and responsibility. By helping clients develop inner coherence, she supports them in building not only financial stability, but the capacity to steward wealth with clarity, integrity, and long-term vision.

“I exist to help our generation step into alignment with our highest selves, which includes how we manage our capital.”
