Kisha Imani Cameron is a distinguished documentary producer and showrunner, studio executive, and accredited professional executive coach.
Kisha most recently served as a Producer on the MEGAN THEE STALLION feature documentary for Amazon. She previously served as co-showrunner/Executive Producer alongside Michaela Angela Davis, Tracee Ellis Ross and Oprah Winfrey on THE HAIR TALES, from ONYX Collective and OWN. She also served as the showrunner/Co-EP of the true crime series “After The First 48” and Consulting Producer on the long running “The First 48”, which airs on A&E.
Her producing credits — which include the Mike Tyson documentary, THE KNOCKOUT for ABC, directed by Academy Award winner Geoffrey Fletcher, Spike Lee’s BAMBOOZLED and Raoul Peck’s SOMETIMES IN APRIL, and her extensive work in film development, namely with New Line Cinema and Walden Media — make her no stranger to the upper echelons of creative production and development. Her producing deal with Focus Features led to the creation of the “Focus Features Africa First Short Film Program”, which ushered in a new generation of African filmmakers.
As a trained coach, she also passionately works as a speaker, career and executive coach, for individuals and clients such as CHIEF, MACRO, The Sundance Institute, WIF, Chicken & Egg Pictures, Firelight Media, Refinery 29, Film Independent & Black Public Media, to name a few.
